The ball-shaped diamond cutter is used to smooth the periungual shafts. The grooved surface does not heat up and perfectly dissipates heat.

The cutters have a universal shank diameter of 2.35 mm, which is why they are suitable for milling machines with a twist and lock head and podology. They can be disinfected in water solutions and sterilized in an autoclave. The color of the stripe or stripes on the shank indicates the gradation or sharpness of the cutter.
