Nail primer is a preparation that prepares the natural nail plate for the application of gel, acrylic or hybrid nail polish. It degreases the nail plate, changing its pH and thus fixes and increases the adhesion of the products which you put on the nail plate.

It prevents the manicure from fogging up and makes the products get better adhesion.
Acid primer is used for styling methods such as gel and acrylic nails. It can also be used under top coats and hybrid polishes, but it is recommended in cases of really problematic and oily nail plate.
